The thermoplastic beads which are utilized as raw material for injection moulding, for extrusion, for blow moulding, etc., easily absorb moisture, which normally causes products defects; therefore beads must be dried before being utilized for the production process. The electric drying ovens of FC series are designed to dry the beads placed in extractable drawers by means of hot air circulation. ATEM construction criteria allow these drying ovens to remain in perfect efficiency for several years. These drying ovens heating is operated by means of fans and groups of electric finned resistances. The doors, after being opened for beads picking up, can be easily closed by pushing, thanks to apposite click-locks. The functioning set and control is operated by means of an electronic instrument, which automatically manages the temperature of the drying ovens inside chamber according to the setting. It is optionally possible to endow the ovens with automatic time/temperature regulators and with automatic daily/weekly-switchers for the automatic switch on of drying ovens at the wanted hour in the different days.
The drying ovens of FC series are available in version for 150°C maximum functioning temperature and both in version for 200°C maximum functioning temperature for thermic treatments (hardening, stabilization ecc.) and for special drying processes.
Drying ovens FC 60:

Drying ovens FC 120:
Maximum beads loading capacity kg 120, placeable in No. 21 drawers having sizes of mm 490x400xh.50, accessible through No. 3 doors which can be independently opened in order to prevent heat waste. Overall dimensions: mm 850 (front side) x 1.050 x h.1.950.
Drying ovens FC 240:
Maximum beads loading capacity kg 240, placeable in No. 42 drawers having sizes of mm 490x400xh.50, accessible through No. 6 doors which can be independently opened in order to prevent heat waste. Overall dimensions: mm 1.350 (front side) x 1.050 x h.2.000.
Hopper heaters GRINGO e SUPERGRINGO:
Electrical hopper heaters. Before the production process, these hopper heaters pre-heat and keep dried or dry beads directly inside the hopper of the processing machines (injection moulding presses, extruders, blow moulding machines, etc.) otherwise inside small/medium size stocking containers; in such a way the plasticization degree of the material to be processed is improved and it is possible to prevent the production rejects coming from the presence of moisture in the raw material. The point of these hopper heaters must be inserted directly inside the beads to be processed. An electronic instrument allows to set and to control the temperature of the hot air, which is injected from the hopper heaters point by a special centrifugal fan with an adjustable flow rate. The little weight and an apposite universal bracket allow to easily fix the hopper heaters onto the edge of any hopper or container. The hopper heaters GRINGO are suitable for small/medium size machines; the more powerful hopper heaters SUPERGRINGO are suitable for big size machines.
